Nestled in the Cairngorms National Park, on the famed whisky trail, Tomintoul has been producing high quality single malts for over 40 years. While it is a modern distillery, it was built to capitalize on the fantastic location of the Ballantruan spring and its extremely high quality waters. Furthermore, Tomintoul is one of the highest altitude distilleries in Scotland, rivalled only by Dalwhinnie.

Tomintoul produces a number of rare malts under the careful guidance of industry legend and master distiller Robert Fleming, whose family has been making whisky in the Speyside Glenlivet region for four generations.

Owned by the independent Angus Dundee Distillers since 2000, Tomintoul has quietly focused an incredible roster of awards, such as winning gold in the world renowned International Spirits Challenge awards 2021. In 2020 Tomintoul took home the coveted “Taste Master” award at The Spirits Business- Scotch Whisky Masters.

Tomintoul has been amassing a reputation for excellence and our analysts are extremely excited with this critically acclaimed pedigree scotch.
